As Director of Audience Engagement (Marketing and Communications) - Southeast Asia, Gerald is responsible for leading a digitally focused marketing and communications strategy across the region.

In his role, Gerald oversees the marketing and communications team and is tasked with leading digital marketing transformation through data, analytics and customer experience. He is also responsible for engaging audiences through content, social media and conversation marketing strategies for Discovery’s portfolio of channels.

Prior to DNAP, Gerald was Global Digital Leader at General Electric (GE), where he was responsible for strategy and leadership in digital marketing and communications across emerging markets globally. Prior to joining GE in 2012, Gerald held various marketing roles across consumer, enterprise and government industries. His experience entails building high performing regional teams with a holistic view of end-to-end business strategies across integrated business channels.

Gerald holds a degree in Business (Marketing) from Monash University, Australia.
